Range and Battery Variants:

The Nexon.ev is available in two battery configurations: MR and LR. The MR variant has a 30kWh battery, while the LR variant has a larger 40.5kWh battery.  Both variants have seen improvements in their claimed ARAI range, with the MR now offering up to 325km and the LR providing an impressive 465km on a single charge. Additionally, both variants come with a standard 7.2kW AC charger, enabling a full charge from 10 to 100 percent in just 4.3 hours for the MR and 6 hours for the LR.

Exterior and Design:

Inspired by the Curvv concept, the Nexon.ev features a more aerodynamic design. The LED lighting elements have been optimized for energy efficiency, further extending the vehicle’s range. Notable exterior differences include a single-tone, body-coloured finish on the upper part of the nose, a full-width LED Daytime Running Lamp signature with a charging status display, and sealed metallic strakes on the lower bumper.

The Nexon.ev retains its distinctive split headlamp design, full-width connected LED tail-lamps, and a prominent roof-mounted spoiler. The 16-inch alloy wheels, shared between the ICE and EV versions, add to the vehicle’s appeal, and the ‘.ev’ badge on the tailgate signifies its electric identity.

Interior and Features:

Inside the Nexon.ev, you’ll find a redesigned dashboard featuring multiple textures and materials, including carbon-fibre-like trim, soft-touch surfaces, and piano black accents. The top-spec variant boasts a class-leading 12.3-inch touchscreen with a new user interface, a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, a customizable 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation display, and touch-based HVAC controls with toggle switches.

Additional top-tier features include a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, fast charging type-C ports, a single-pane sunroof, a premium JBL sound system, voice commands, OTA updates, and an Arcade.ev app suite.
