Automovill, a Bengaluru-based Mobility solution provider, has announced the opening of its latest workshop in Kolkata. This workshop officially opened its doors on May 29th, 2023, and is set to provide an array of value-added services which cater to the growing needs of customers in the region.

The inauguration of the workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Mahendra Bindal, the Managing Director of SNAP-E Cabs. His attendance highlights the significance of this initiative in the automotive industry, particularly in the realm of EV fleet maintenance and insurance claim facilitation. EV Maintenance and Charging Infrastructure:

The recently inaugurated workshop specializes in providing services for EV fleet maintenance, ensuring the proper servicing and repair of vehicles. Equipped with charging infrastructure, the workshop focuses specifically on EVs to ensure that vehicles remain charged while they undergo repairs or await insurance approval. This seamless integration of maintenance and charging facilities sets the workshop apart and enhances customer convenience.

Centralized Claim-Handling Facility:

Automovill’s workshop also provides a centralized claim-handling facility, streamlining the insurance claim process for EV fleet owners. This comprehensive service ensures that insurance claims are efficiently processed, reducing downtime for the vehicles and minimizing operational disruptions for businesses. The workshop’s claim-handling expertise meets the specific demands of businesses in Kolkata and enhances their operational efficiency.

Targets and Investment:

Following the launch, Automovill has set ambitious targets to serve a wide range of customers. In the first month alone, the company aims to cater to over 100 B2C retail customers, handle maintenance and services for more than 150 commercial EVs, and provide assistance to 25 insurance vehicles. To ensure a comprehensive experience, Automovill has invested over 20 lakhs in establishing the workshop, covering not only the facility itself but also auxiliary services such as washing and detailing.
