Did you know that Ford was founded over 115 years ago? The American automobile manufacturer Ford stands out as one of the biggest names in the industry. Ford Set To Launch New Cars.

The company sells cars and offers a lot more than just exciting driving experiences. Their cars are almost close to perfection. The brand finally made its way over to India in 1995. At that time, they already knew what to do and how to win over the hearts of the people, and they did just that. Ford Set To Launch New Cars.

From SUVs to sedans and all the others in between, Ford has given the Indian customers an option for all their needs and wants. The company is set to launch a bunch of new cars in the coming months and we take a look at a few of them here.

Ford is working on launching a wide range of new cars in India in 2021. This includes a C-segment SUV under the JV with Mahindra, 3 CBUs, as well as new-gen models for the Figo and EcoSport.

As of now, Ford’s Indian merchandise has a total of six cars in its line-up, namely Figo, Focus, Focus ST, Ranger Raptor, EcoSport, and C-SUV . Unfortunately, none of the mentioned cars are best-selling in their respective space, which strongly indicates the fact that Ford needs to work on revamping its line-up.

In November 2020, Ford could manage to sell just 3,991 cars in the Indian market, putting it at the 10th spot in the overall brand sales list for the said month. Not just that, it left with a market share of just 1.4 percent. That is really disappointing but COVID is to be blamed here!

The good news is that Ford certainly has a lot of new plans for India, which includes launching as many as 6 cars in the country next year.

So let’s take a sneak peak at these cars

New Figo

Ever since its launch back in 2015, the Figo has failed to receive any substantial updates. That being said, the old Figo now feels dated as compared to some other rivals, which is why its sales numbers are also going down.

But, Ford has confirmed that a new version for the Figo will be launched by the end of 2021.

The new-generation Ford Figo will arrive by the end of next year. If reports are to be believed, the hatchback might receive Mahindra’s new 1.2L mStallion turbocharged petrol engine
