Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Engine:

The upcoming Maruti Swift will now come with a new K12N Dual Jet petrol engine. The new 1.2-litre petrol engine is capable of producing 90 PS of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque.
That is an increase of 7 PS over the previous engine which produces 83 PS of max power. However, the torque output and the gearbox options of both engines stay the same. The new engine will also be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
The new engine will also be more fuel-efficient than the current K12M petrol engine because it comes with idle start-stop technology.
That means the engine will automatically cut off when you are at a traffic light and will start again as soon as you press the clutch. But the engine does not get the SHVS mild-hybrid technology that we have seen on the Maruti Baleno.
Currently, the most fuel-efficient petrol car is the Maruti Dzire. There is a chance that the Maruti Suzuki Swift might be more fuel-efficient than the Dzire because it is a lighter and smaller vehicle because it is a hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift Features:
The revised grille of Swift now gets a studded mesh-pattern finish as against the current hatchback’s horizontal slat design. There is also more chrome on the nose in the form of a thick chrome strip bisecting the grille, atop which sits the Suzuki logo.
The teaser video gives brief glimpses of the car and reveals that the updated Swift could come with dual-tone colour options. The updated car is also expected to sit on new design alloy wheels.
