The MG Hector garnered impressive sales figures primarily due to its exceptional range of features. Recently, CarWale updated its website with information about a fresh design modification in the 2023 MG Hector. This exciting change has been implemented in select high-end variants, namely Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro trims.
MG Hector does get some of the notable features like a Panoramic sunroof and voice commands for the audio system. It may not sell in massive numbers, but this SUV has captivating looks on offer. If there was one car that gained popularity for the internet features, then definitely MG Hector was the first car to get internet features in India. This design change will not apply to the trims like Style trim and the Shine trims of Hector. The Shine trim and the style trim will continue to feature the same set of design patterns for the wheel rims in the Hector lineup. In the 2023 update, Hector also received Autonomous Driver assist systems for the improvement of safety.
MG Hector 2023 Engine Options
The SUV has two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Those who need a powerful Diesel SUV can get the diesel engine of the Hector that pumps out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Both the diesel and petrol get a 6-speed manual transmission as standard whereas the CVT is only limited to the petrol variants of the car.
