Tata’s Harrier was a big hit when it was first launched in 2019. It was launched in four variants then. Tata Harrier Records price in India ranges from 12.69 lakh for the base XE variant, to 16.25 lakh for the Tata Harrier XZ variant. Tata Harrier is built on the OMEGA platform. OMEGA platform is a version of Land Rover’s D8 platform. Tata Harrier also has Tata’s new IMPACT 2.0 design.Â
Harrier is bigger in size than its rival cars – Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, and Nizan Kicks. The design of Harrier completely justifies its look being an urban SUV. In the front, it houses a wide grille with LED daytime running lamps at the corners. The projector headlamps are positioned just below the LED lamps. The side of the Harrier looks flamboyant with exaggerated wheel arches and bold cladding.
Harrier was a great subcompact SUV in terms of design and built. But it lacked automatic transmission which was a disadvantage for such a good car. So, Tata launched Tata Harrier automatic variant in June 2020. Tata Harrier’s sales increased by 3x times in November 2020.
