Top 10 Cars with 5-Star GLOBAL NCAP Rating in India
Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) is an independent, non-profit organization that conducts crash tests and rates the safety performance of vehicles. A 5-star rating from Global NCAP indicates that the vehicle has achieved the highest level of safety in their tests.
To achieve a 5-star rating from Global NCAP, a vehicle must meet several criteria, including:
- The vehicle must perform well in front and side-impact tests.
- The vehicle must have appropriate safety features, such as airbags, seat belts, and electronic stability control.
- The vehicle must have good structural integrity, meaning that it can withstand a crash and protect the occupants inside.
- The vehicle must also have child restraint systems that are easy to use and provide good protection for children.
It’s important to note that a 5-star rating from Global NCAP does not guarantee that a vehicle is completely safe, as there are many factors that can affect the safety of a vehicle in real-world driving conditions. However, it does provide a good indication of a vehicle’s safety performance and can be a useful tool for consumers when choosing a new vehicle.
