Top 10 Cars with 5-Star GLOBAL NCAP Rating in India

Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) is an independent, non-profit organization that conducts crash tests and rates the safety performance of vehicles. A 5-star rating from Global NCAP indicates that the vehicle has achieved the highest level of safety in their tests.

To achieve a 5-star rating from Global NCAP, a vehicle must meet several criteria, including:

  1. The vehicle must perform well in front and side-impact tests.
  2. The vehicle must have appropriate safety features, such as airbags, seat belts, and electronic stability control.
  3. The vehicle must have good structural integrity, meaning that it can withstand a crash and protect the occupants inside.
  4. The vehicle must also have child restraint systems that are easy to use and provide good protection for children.

It’s important to note that a 5-star rating from Global NCAP does not guarantee that a vehicle is completely safe, as there are many factors that can affect the safety of a vehicle in real-world driving conditions. However, it does provide a good indication of a vehicle’s safety performance and can be a useful tool for consumers when choosing a new vehicle.
