Tata gravitas was showcased by the carmaker at the 2020 Delhi motor show. The 7 seaters Upcoming SUVs is expected to hit the roads in 2021. Tata Gravitas is the 7- seater version of Harrier. Once launched, it will go head to head with Mahindra XUV500, the 7 seater Hyundai Creta and the upcoming MG Hector Plus. The gravitas will be built on the new OMEGA platform that is sourced from the D8 platform of Land Rover. The car will feature the new IMPACT design 2.0 language.

The vehicle will be powered by a 170 bhp, 2.0-litre diesel engine. You can get a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox along with an optional AWD system in Gravitas. The dimensions of the car are similar to the Buzzard concept. The vehicle measures 4661 mm in length, 1894 mm in width and 1786 mm in height. The expected price is between 17.8 lakh- 19 lakh.

Upcoming SUVs New Tata Harrier

The new Tata Harrier will be a notable update of the popular Tata Harrier Upcoming SUVs. The vehicle will come with significant changes in comfort features and designs. The vehicle comes with a 170 bhp, 2.0 L diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the same engine combination to be offered in Tata Gravitas 7 seater SUV. 

Tata Harrier 2021 is expected to be one of the top upcoming SUVs in 2021-2022. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine. The price of the All-New Harrier starts at 13.84 lakh and is to be launched in early 2021.

Upcoming SUVs Kia Sportage

Kia Sportage is one of the upcoming SUVs in 2021 in India. It is expected to be launched around April 2021 in India. It is a mid-size SUV in Kia’s line-up that will compete against Jeep Compass and Mahindra XUV500. Sportage debuted back in 2015 and is a group sibling of Hyundai Tucson. The vehicle comes with a 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The security features include six airbags, a panoramic sunroof and a 10 way electrically adjustable driver seat. The expected pricing is between 15 lakh to 20 lakh. In the exterior design, the grille gets better styling in high gloss black material. The other exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, stylish alloy wheels, etc. The interiors will be spacious with enough leg space, headspace and good visibility. The Sportage diesel version is expected to deliver a mileage of 15 to 16 kmpl. The accurate details of the vehicle are still to be revealed.

Upcoming SUVs Jaguar I Pace

The 2021 Jaguar I-Pace is a premium upcoming SUV that will be launched in India in 2021. It is an all-electric crossover with a luxury design.  Breaker will be offered in three variants that is, S, SE and HSE. Looking at the exterior dimensions, Jaguar I Pace has a wheelbase of 117.7 inches, a length of 184.3 

inches and a height of 61.3 inches. It will be launched by March 2021. The battery has 8 years or 1.6 lakh km warranty. In addition to that, a 5-year service package and 5-year roadside assistance will be provided for the I-Pace customers. The Jaguar I Pace price will start at 1 crore in the Indian market.

Upcoming SUVs Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda flagship SUV, Kodiaq, in India is all set to get an update in 2021. The model was off the shelves for a time now as it’s 2.0 litre TDI did not meet mandatory BS6 emission norms. The price of the updated Skoda kodiaq will be around 33 lakh in India( Ex-Showroom). The major rivals of the Kodiaq facelift are Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster.

Jeep Compass

Jeep India will launch the new Jeep Compass facelift in 2021. The upcoming SUV  in India gets a new exterior and interior update. On the exterior, the vehicle gets tweaked headlights with LED DRLS on the seven- slat chrome front grille. A new front bumper with a large air dam is also added. In the interior, the compass facelift provides a new three-spoke steering wheel and a fully digital instrument cluster. The seat colour is light grey and you get a panoramic sunroof also. to use the same 173 hp, 2.0-litre diesel and 163 hp, 1.4-litre turbo petrol engines. SUV will compete with Hyundai Tucson and Skoda Karoq in India. The price of the car is expected to be Rs.17.00 lakh.

Tata Hexa 2021 

Tata Hexa was discontinued after the kick in of BS6 emission norms. However, the seven-seater SUV is making a comeback in 2021. There are not many changes in design. The variance of the SUV comes with dual-tone alloy wheels. The design of the car is based on the  IMPACT  design. Features include a bi-LED projector lamp. The new Tata Hexa will be powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine.  Hexa comes with a speed manual,  a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearboxes. It is estimated to launch in 2021 at a price of Rs. 14 lakh.

Toyota C-HR

Toyota C-HR is the next upcoming SUV in India in 2021. The spy images of the car show a few design elements. The headlamps look extremely sharp and sleek in the front. On the sides, the car has dual-tone alloy wheels. The tail lamps are extremely shark and similar to that of the Honda civic. The car comes with a 2.0 litre for a cylinder petrol engine. In the interior, the SUV has premium features like an 8-inch infotainment touch screen unit. The price of the car will be around Rs 20-25 lakh. Toyota C-HR will be a rival to Keep Compass, Skoda Karoq and T-Roc.

Haval H9

Great Wall Motors-owned Haval brand will launch its full-size SUV in 2021 in India. Haval H9 is expected in six variants-Intelligent, Elite, Exclusive, Comfortable,  Luxury, and Distinguished. The vehicle is likely to have only a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. H9 includes matrix LED headlamps with DRLs and 17/18-inch wheels in the exterior. The interior includes a 9-inch touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control, sunroof and power-operated seats.H9 will compete with Fortuner, Alturas G4 and Endeavour. The expected price is around 30 lakh.

Mahindra XUV 500

Second generation XUV 500 is the upcoming compact SUV in India. It is to be launched in 2021. It has interior and exterior updates. The new XUV has a wider front grille, newly alloy wheels, and tail lamps. The dashboard comes with a twin-screen setup similar to  Mercedes Benz.  The car comes with two Euro engine options- a new 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The 7 seater SUV might have all-wheel drive features. The price range starts from Rs.13 lakh.
