1) Maruti Alto 2021 – Facelift

Maruti Suzuki has begun testing the next-gen Alto in India. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars alto is expected to launch around June 2021 in India, it’s likely to grow in size and can have more space inside.
Expected features like the
- touchscreen infotainment system
- front power windows
- an air conditioner
- central and remote locking
- multi-info display.
The upcoming Alto is expected to be powered with the same as the current model’s 0.8-litre petrol engine which develops 48ps of power and 69nm of torque. Also, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors will also be offered in New Alto.
Also, the CNG option could be offered for those looking for a frugal option, the new model could also come with an AMT.
2) Maruti XL 5
- Rs 5.00 Lakh (Expected Price)
- Expected Launch – September 2021
The Maruti Suzuki XL5 is primarily the premium attire of Wagon R. The hatchback will come with revised front and rear styling. It is also expected to feature a redesigned cabin with premiere elements.
XL5 is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine same as Wagon R. It is expected to make its debut at the Auto Expo.
The transmission will be manual and it will have BS-VI emission norm compliance. Maruti XL5 will come with 15-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps- LED, DRL and LED elements in tail lamps. XL5 is will offer a more premium upholstery, automatic climate control and push-button for start and Stop.
3) Maruti Grand Vitara

- Expected Launch – August 2021
In November 2020 Suzuki introduced the new 1.4-litre Booster Jet engine with Vitara S in the UK. The car was first unveiled at the Paris motor show.
Maruti Grand Vitara carries a slight resemblance to the old Grand Vitara that is currently available in the country. The Maruti Grand Vitara on the outside gets a clamshell bonnet, projector headlamps, contrasting roof, understated lower air dam, chrome grille, indented tail lamps and large graphite alloy wheels.
In the Europen markets, Grand Vitara is powered by 4 cylinders and a 1.6-litre petrol motor which produces 120bhp. It also gets a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic option. The diesel motors get the 6-speed manual option.
4) Maruti Wagon R – Electric

- Expected Launch – September 2021
Maruti Suzuki WagonR electric is an electric version of the Japanese Wagon R. It will go on sale from 2021. It will be launched in petrol and hybrid versions. Maruti Suzuki has indicated that Wagon R could cost up to 9 lakhs in India.
Maruti has already started testing the wagon R-based EV in India. EVs will be tested in various weathers and terrains and the data gathered from this will help the company in studying and successfully launching electric vehicle technology in India.
5) Maruti Swift Hybrid

- Rs 10.00 Lakh (Expected Price)
- Expected Launch – December 2021
At Auto Expo 2020 the Maruti showcased their Swift Hybrid. Maruti is not planning to launch swift in India but its technology is expected to be a part of upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars.
The swift hybrid comes with an electric motor coupled to a 1.2-litre petrol engine and battery pack. The 1.2-litre petrol engine makes 91ps and 118nm and the electric motor puts out 13.5 ps and 30 nm.
Suzuki Swift hybrid offers a 5-speed AMt transmission which also comes with paddle shifters. Maruti Suzuki Swift Hybrid will get additional features over the standard Swift including ventilated front seats, cruise control, and paddle shifters.
6) Maruti Jimny
- Rs 10.00 Lakh (Expected Price)
- Expected Launch – September 2021
Maruti has reportedly started the production of fourth-gen Jimny in India from its Gurugram Plant. Jimny will be launched with a 5 door variant in India. The Jimny in India is likely to be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a choice of either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
The output will remain the same at 105ps and 138nm. It also assumed that Maruti will likely offer a 4-2 drive train on Indian Jimny. Jimny will be equipped with comfort features like cruise control, auto climate control and 7-inch touchscreen systems with android and apple car play.
The Standard safety features on offer are likely to include dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors. Jimny in India will compete with the new Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.
