Verna came a long way back and is at the end of its life cycle. The new generation of Verna is expected to come by the end of 2023.
The I20 came out in 2020 is selling in good numbers but the sales of the diesel variant are not that high compared to the petrol and turbo petrol variants. The diesel variant will be discontinued.
The Innova Crysta Petrol is an outdated car that came in 2016 and the demand for the petrol variant was very poor, so the 2.7L petrol version will be discontinued.
Nissan kicks came 4 to 5 years back with very poor sales. The 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine and 1.5 liters naturally aspirated petrol engine could not make its space among the Koreans, that is why it will be pulled off from the market.
The KWID 800 will get discontinued as the sales are quite low and is not a modern car and came half a decade back with a 800cc engine and the company is in no plan to upgrade that engine.
The Alto 800 will also get discontinued as the sales were quite less and people opted more for S-presso, Wagon R but in the future we might see the new generation of the Alto 800 in a new avatar.
You will be shocked to know that the D-segment sedans, basically Octavia and Superb, are being pulled off the plug because their sales are quite low and need more money to upgrade the engines of these two cars. Rest Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq will remain in the line-up.
The KUV100 is at the end of its life cycle and its sales are low so upgrading it won’t make a difference. Marazzo came out in 2018 and its sales are low as it could not make a space in the MPV segment. Alturas G4 is at the end of its life cycle and due to poor sales and Fortuner being the segment leader, upgradation won’t make a sense.
Honda will be pulling off the plug with the highest number of cars.
